Whitsundays Sailing Adventures Ticket Terms

All prices are per person in AUD and include GST, administration fees, professional skipper and crew, live-aboard or camp ashore accommodation, all meals, fresh linen and use of wet suits or stinger suits and snorkelling equipment.  Some vessels also include  SCUBA Diving is optional and rates payable on board are detailed in vessel listings. Some vessels are liquor licensed and provide the option of purchasing alcohol on board but most vessels allow guests to bring their own (BYO) alcohol to enjoy responsibly on board at no charge. Most vessels provide bottled water and soft drinks for purchase on board.

Terms and Conditions

Prices are based on multi-share accommodation unless otherwise specified. Prices do not include air fares ro transfers. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure on day trips and 14 days before departure on overnight trips will result in complete forfeiture of the full price. We reserve the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason.

Due to Airlie Beach being located in the tropics we can occasionally experience inclement weather.  We recommend you purchase Travel Insurance which would cover for such things as Road Closures, flight,  bus or tour cancellations.

Clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control. All cruises are subject to weather and the vessel operator’s discretion.  Vessel operators reserve the right to vary itineraries for safety and passenger comfort.  At certain times of year ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owners or operators of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk you will be provided with a full length protective ‘Stinger Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise. Whitsundays Sailing and its related bodies corporate, its officers, employees and agents are not the owner or operator of any vessel on which any passengers sail. Accordingly, it shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participating in any of its sailing adventures, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Special Needs

Passengers travelling who have special needs including travelling with children under twelve, the elderly, passenger with mobility issues or special medical conditions need to contact Whitsunday Sailing Adventures check-in office and discuss their special needs prior to booking. Special needs need to be approved by the operator prior to booking or else boarding for the tour may be refused.

If Whitsundays sailing Adventures have not been notified of the above, prior to our 14 day cancellation policy, you may be refused boarding, and there will be no refund as per the cancellation policy.
