DAY 1

Once the safety briefing has ended, we will set sail from the Coral Sea Marina to our first location. Begin the adventure on the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Snorkel by coral gardens and swim amongst countless tropical fish and marine life in this underwater world they call their home. As you traverse this diverse ecosystem, you’ll witness firsthand why the Great Barrier Reef is heralded as one of the world’s seven natural wonders.

DAY 2

Explore the beauty of the famous Whitsunday Islands and Whitehaven Beach. The morning will start with a scenic bush walk to the northern end lookout, where the panoramic vistas of Hill Inlet awaits. The ever-shifting swirls of white silica sand and turquoise waters will leave you entranced and never wanting to leave. Spend some time walking the beach and if you’re lucky, you’ll see some of the local animals that frequent the area including sting rays, baby lemon sharks and soldier crabs. The inlet is a safe breeding ground for these animals and to be able to see them in their natural habitat, is truly an experience to remember.

The allure of Whitehaven Beach continues as we journey to its southern expanse, inviting you to explore its 7-kilometre stretch of pristine sands. Revel in the panoramic views from another vantage point, immersing yourself in the splendour of the surrounding islands.

Apollo has a fun and social atmosphere on board so in the evening, you’ll sit back and relax with like-minded people, swapping stories of your day and past adventures, before heading off to get a good night’s rest in one of the spacious beds downstairs. Wake up in the morning to a delicious breakfast and get ready for another day of once in a lifetime experiences.

DAY 3

Our final day begins with a sail to Langford Spit, the second most famous beach in the Whitsundays, adjacent to the luxurious Hayman Island Resort. Here, you can swim, snorkel, or simply unwind on the shore. After lunch, brace yourself for an awe-inspiring sail across the Whitsunday Passage, in our return to Coral Sea Marina.

This itinerary serves as a sample, and all departures are contingent upon weather conditions. The team reserves the right to modify the itinerary as necessary to prioritise the safety and comfort of our guests.
